Abstract:
Disclosed are an Ethernet packet programming method and apparatus. Said method comprises: defining syntax of pseudo codes; according to the format of an Ethernet packet, using the pseudo codes to represent the Ethernet packet; and parsing, according to a correlation between the syntax of the pseudo codes and a designated programming language, the Ethernet packet represented by the pseudo codes into the designated programming language. Compared with the prior art, the present invention completes representation of a flexible, complicated and changeable Ethernet packet structure by defining simple and intelligible syntax of pseudo codes, showing the features of flexible definition, intuitive representation, and strong expandability. An executor does not need to have a relevant basis of being able to execute C programming language or Verilog, and only needs to have the capability of reading and parsing an Ethernet packet protocol, greatly reducing difficulty of and a threshold for designing an Ethernet packet generator.
