Abstract:
An evaluating device (14) for evaluating a joining operation for joining first and second base materials to one another is provided with: a data acquiring unit (18) for acquiring time-series data relating to at least one type of information among the position of at least one base material during a joining operation that employs brazing, the position of a flame, the position of the brazing material, and the temperature of at least one base material; and an evaluating unit (19) which uses different evaluating methods to evaluate data before and data after a prescribed wire-feed start timing, among the time-series data acquired by the data acquiring unit (18).
