Abstract:
Provided, inter alia, is an evaluating method capable of evaluating the effect of a hand-shake correction function for a camera. The method for evaluating the effect of the hand-shake correction function of an image-capturing device has: a first image-capturing step for capturing an image of a subject when the hand-shake correction function is ON, and vibration is applied to the image-capturing device; a second image-capturing step for capturing an image of the subject when the image-capturing device is in a stationary state; a first calculation step for calculating a first shutter speed on the basis of a captured image that has been captured in the first image-capturing step, and for calculating a first evaluation value on the basis of the first shutter speed and a reference shutter speed determined from information related to the vibration applied to the image-capturing device; a second calculation step for calculating a second evaluation value on the basis of the captured image that was captured in the first image-capturing step and the captured image that was captured in the second image-capturing step; and an evaluation step for calculating an evaluation value for the effect of the hand-shake correction function of the image-capturing device on the basis of the result obtained by subtracting the second evaluation value from the first evaluation value.
