Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an exercise device that makes it possible to compactly install an exercise chamber unit and two side tanks in a small installation space and can be used to walk underwater, bathe, and shower. [Solution] The present invention comprises side tanks (3), (4) that are arranged on either side of an exercise chamber unit (2) so as to be in contact therewith and can hold cold or hot water that is supplied to/returned from the exercise chamber unit (2). Side tank (3): has a two-layered structure that has an intermediate water storage tank (27) that is between an inside member (25) and an outside member (26); and comprises upper piping (21a) that is connected to an upper part of the outside member (26) and supplies water to the intermediate water storage tank (27), lower piping (21b) that is connected to a bottom part of the inside member (25) and supplies/drains water to/from the inside of the inside member (25), a check valve (28) that is provided at a prescribed height on the inside member (25) and only allows flow from the intermediate water storage tank (27) to the inside of the inside member (25), a water level detection sensor (29) that is provided to side tank (3) and detects that the water level inside the inside member (25) has exceeded a prescribed height, and a water inlet/outlet valve (30) that is an electromagnetic switching valve that is provided to the lower piping (21b). The water inlet/outlet valve (30) opens when the water level inside the inside member (25) has exceeded the prescribed height.
