Abstract:
Provided are exercise tights having, in the fabric constituting the tights, high-strength regions having relatively high tensile strength, and low-strength regions having relatively low tensile strength. The high-strength regions have at least: first vertices positioned continuously from the hip part of the tights to below the knee, in positions overlapping the upper shinbone of the wearer when worn; second vertices in positions overlapping the thigh vastus lateralis muscles; and third vertices in positions overlapping the thigh vastus medialis muscle and lower than the second vertices, the high-strength regions being positioned in a polygonal shape having three or more angles, and the portions of the high-strength regions overlapping the kneecap of the wearer when worn being positioned forward of the articulation center of the knee joint of the wearer when worn. The low-strength regions are positioned forward of the kneecap of the wearer when worn, within the interior of the polygonal regions, and are positioned so as to be surrounded by the high-strength regions.
