Abstract:
In order to enable calibration of an analyzer and purging of a sampling channel without removing a sampling probe from a sampling point, an exhaust gas analyzing device comprises: a sampling channel L1 through which exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine E flows; an analyzer X connected to the sampling channel L1 for analyzing the exhaust gas; a diluter MIX located upstream of the analyzer X in the sampling channel L1; a return channel L2 diverging from a diverging point L1a set between the analyzer X and the diluter MIX in the sampling channel L1 and merging into the diluter MIX; a pump P provided in the return channel L2 for guiding a portion of the exhaust gas from the diverging point L1a to the diluter MIX; an additional channel L3 through which calibration gas or purge gas flows, the additional channel L3 being connected to the return channel L2 or the sampling channel L1; and an opening/closing mechanism V1 provided in the additional channel L3.
