Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas treatment device (4), wherein an adsorbent supply part (41) supplies, in an exhaust gas path through which an exhaust gas generated in a combustion chamber (21) flows, a mercury adsorbent to the exhaust gas, and a bag filter (42) collects the mercury adsorbent. A heat exchange part (49) is disposed, in the exhaust gas path, between the combustion chamber (21) and the bag filter (42), and performs heat exchange between the exhaust gas and a predetermined fluid. An upstream mercury densitometer (45) measures, between the combustion chamber (21) and the bag filter (42) in the exhaust gas path, the mercury concentration of the exhaust gas as an upstream mercury concentration. A fly ash removal part (48) is capable of removing fly ash deposited on the heat exchange part (49) by performing a cleaning operation such as a pressure wave cleaning, and performs the cleaning operation on the basis of the upstream mercury concentration. The exhaust gas treatment device (4) can properly reduce the mercury concentration of the exhaust gas.
