Abstract:
The present invention provides an exhaust gas treatment method that is capable of inhibiting the elution of arsenic, selenium, and compounds of these from fly ash. An exhaust gas treatment method for neutralizing, by dry processes, an exhaust gas containing an acidic component, wherein: a neutralizer containing sodium hydrogen carbonate is brought into contact with the exhaust gas; a mixture comprising a gas component, which has been obtained by bringing the neutralizer into contact with the exhaust gas, and a fly ash component is separated by a dry filter into the gas component and the fly ash component; and arsenic, selenium, and compounds of these which are contained in the fly ash component are insolubilized in the presence of calcium carbonate.
