Abstract:
Disclosed are expandable modified resin particles (1) which use, as a base resin, a modified resin that is obtained by dispersing dispersion phases (3) that are mainly composed of a styrene resin in a continuous phase (2) that is mainly composed of an olefin resin, and which contain a physical expanding agent. Also disclosed are: modified resin expanded particles which are obtained by expanding the expandable modified resin particles (1); and a molded body of the modified resin expanded particles, which is obtained by molding the modified resin expanded particles. The volume average diameter of the dispersion phases (3) dispersed in the continuous phase (2) is not less than 0.55 μm. In addition, the expandable modified resin particles (1) use, as a base resin, a modified resin that contains 80-50 parts by mass of the styrene resin per 20-50 parts by mass of the olefin resin.
