Abstract:
The present invention relates to an explosion prevention system using a catalytic hydrogen removal apparatus and, more specifically, to an explosion prevention system using a catalytic hydrogen removal apparatus that can prevent the accumulation of hydrogen by efficiently removing even a low concentration of hydrogen in order to effectively prevent explosion accidents caused by the accumulation of hydrogen at a low concentration of 5% or less, the hydrogen being discharged from a fuel cell or internal combustion engine of a vehicle using hydrogen as fuel. In addition, the explosion prevention system using the catalytic hydrogen removal apparatus, which prevents an explosion due to hydrogen discharged from a fuel cell or internal combustion engine of a vehicle using hydrogen as fuel, comprises: a sensor unit provided at the upper side of a fuel cell or internal combustion engine installed in an engine room; and the catalytic hydrogen removal apparatus in which a catalyst is embedded to suck up inner fluid of the engine room when hydrogen is detected by the sensor unit, to oxidize and remove hydrogen from the fluid.
