Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/057606
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a veterinary artificial tear composition comprising a first polymer and a second polymer, wherein said first polymer and said second polymer are cross-linkable to form a hydrogel, wherein: said first polymer is a hyaluronic acid modified with vinylsulfone, said hyaluronic acid has a molecular weight of 2.6 MDa, said first polymer has a degree of modification of 35%, and said first polymer is present in said composition with a concentration of 0.32 mg/ml; said second polymer is a hyaluronic acid modified with thiol, said hyaluronic acid has a molecular weight of 2.6 MDa, said second polymer has a degree of modification of 35%, and said second polymer is present in said composition with a concentration of 0.32 mg/ml; and a molar ratio between said first polymer and said second polymer in said composition is 1:1. The present disclosure also provides methods for using the same.
