Abstract:
The invention is of relevance to the qualitative and quantitative elemental and phase analysis of solids, mineral ore processing, and the chemical industry and others which use dissolution processes; more specifically, it relates to devices which can be used for characterizing the dissolution kinetics and chemical composition of complex solids, as, for example, during the development and exploitation of technologies needed for the extraction of useful components from mineral ores or of those used in the chemical industry and others for determining the chemical stability and corrosion resistance of solids. The invention is characterised by the fact that the reactor unit of the proposed facility comprises: a reactor for dissolving a solid in a stream of solvent whose composition can be adjusted; containers for solvent components; a system of pumps or other devices for creating an adjustable supply of those components; a mixer for mixing the solvent components; a pipe system; and a system for programming the composition of the solvent, the specific purpose of this programming system being to ensure, by regulating the flow-rates of the component streams, that the solvent flows at the desired rate from the mixer into the reactor and has the desired composition.
