Abstract:
Provided is a fastener chain (10) having a right-left pair of fastener stringers (11) in which a plurality of fastener elements (14) that are connected in a coil shape are sewn to a fastener tape (12), wherein the fastener tape (12) has: a protective layer (41) that forms an outer surface of the fastener tape (12); a woven or knitted tape body part (30); an attachment layer (43) provided on one surface of the tape body part (30); and a pattern layer (42) provided between the attachment layer (43) and the protective layer (41), the protective layer (41) being flexible, and having a surface that is more smoothly formed than one or the other surface of the tape body part (30). With this fastener chain (10), it is possible to obtain a flexible, smooth texture.
