Provided is a faucet assembly, comprising: a base, the base extending to pass through an installation table; an installation plate, the installation plate being arranged on a side wall of the base and protruding outwards from the side wall of the base, and the installation plate being in contact with the bottom surface of the installation table; an installation ring, the installation ring being in threaded connection with the base, and the installation ring being in contact with the top surface of the installation table; a faucet, the faucet being installed and fixed to the base, with the installation ring being located between the faucet and the top surface of the installation table; and a water delivery pipe, the water delivery pipe being connected to the faucet and extending to pass through the base and the installation ring. The installation plate is configured to protrude from or retract into the side wall of the base, and when the installation plate is in contact with the bottom surface of the installation table, the installation plate protrudes to the outer side of the side wall from the side wall. Further provided is an installation method for the faucet assembly. The present invention aims to provide a faucet assembly and an installation method for the faucet assembly, such that the installation efficiency of the faucet assembly can be improved.
