Title:
FE-NI ALLOY HAVING EXCELLENT OUTGAS CHARACTERISTICS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/190813
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an Fe-Ni alloy comprising 0.001-0.2 mass% of C, 0.001-0.30 mass% of Si, 0.005-0.7 mass% of Mn, 30.0-45.0 mass% of Ni, 0.30 mass% or less of Cr, 0.001-0.1 mass% of Al, 0.020 mass% or less of Ti, 0.0050 mass% or less of Mg, 0.007 mass% or less of O, 0.0015 mass% or less of Ca, and 0.00005-0.001 mass% of Na, the remaining portion being Fe and unavoidable impurities. Of all nonmetal inclusions in the alloy, the count proportion of CaO-SiO2-Al2O3-MgO-MnO-Na2O inclusions is 40% or more, and the count proportions of CaO inclusions, Na2O inclusions, MgO·Al2O3 inclusions, and MnO·SiO2 inclusions are each 20% or less. The CaO-SiO2-Al2O3-MgO-MnO-Na2O inclusions each contain 20-60 mass% of CaO, 10-40 mass% of SiO2, 30 mass% or less of Al2O3, 5-50 mass% of MgO, and 0.001-1 mass% of Na2O, the remaining portion being MnO. The MgO·Al2O3 inclusions each contain 10-40 mass% of MgO and 60-90 mass% of Al2O3. Accordingly, the Fe-Ni alloy has excellent outgas characteristics suitable for use in a vacuum environment.
