Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to supply, with minimal effort, a feed containing medium-chain fatty acid triglycerides not only to newborn young livestock but also to large numbers of livestock and/or to active young livestock which are large and past weaning. A feed composition containing (A) 70-98 parts by mass of a trimester configured from medium-chain fatty acids and glycerin, (B) 1-29 parts by mass of an emulsifier having a total HLB value of 9.7-11.0, (C) 1-10 parts by mass of water, and (D) 0-10 parts by mass of a nutrient additive, the total quantity of components (A) through (D) being 100 parts by mass, and the feed composition being for dispersion in livestock drinking water or in a liquid ingestible by livestock.
