Abstract:
Fibers based on poly(vinyl alcohol) which comprise a poly(vinyl alcohol)-based polymer and a phyllosilicate. The amount of the phyllosilicate is 30-400 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the poly(vinyl alcohol)-based polymer. The fibers have a degree of swelling of 200-600%.
