Title:
FIBERS TO WHICH SILICONE HAS BEEN FIXED, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/180601
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention relates to silicone-fixed fibers to which silicone has been fixed, wherein the silicone contains acrylic-modified organopolysiloxane (A) containing two or more acrylic groups in one molecule, and the reduction rate of the amount of Si after washing 10 times is less than 50%. This invention relates to a production method of silicone-fixed fibers, involving a step for coating or impregnating the fibers with a fiber treatment agent containing silicone, and a step for irradiating the fibers coated or impregnated with the fiber treatment agent with an electron beam and fixing the silicone to the fibers, wherein the silicone contains acrylic-modified organopolysiloxane (A) containing two or more acrylic groups in one molecule. By this means, silicone-fixed fibers are provided in which silicone is fixed by electron beam irradiation and which have good texture even after washing, and a production method thereof is provided.
