Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a seat pad in which adhesion is ensured between ventilating members and an expanded resin foam which configures the seat pad and it is thereby possible to obtain a desirable seating feeling, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the seat pad. Provided is a filling member which is used in a process of molding a seat pad for a vehicle, which comprises ventilating members having a function of external ventilation, in an integrated casting with the ventilating members inserted into an expanded resin foam and is removed after casting, said filling member being characterized by comprising a frame body which is mounted to cover the circumference lateral faces of the exterior exposed faces of the ventilating members and installed in a casting face of a mold, and a lateral face covering body which is disposed vertically in the frame body and partially covers the lateral faces of the ventilation members.
