Abstract:
Provided is a filter circuit for which excellent attenuation characteristics can be obtained while reducing the calculation amount. This filter circuit includes an input unit to which a signal is inputted, an output unit that outputs an output value that corresponds to the input value of the signal, a first storage unit that stores the input value and the output value, a comparison unit that compares the input value and the output value, and a correction unit that corrects the output value according to the output of the comparison unit. The comparison unit compares the current input value and the previous output value. The correction unit adds a first correction value to the current input value and the previous output value if the comparison value of the current input value and the previous output value in the comparison unit is greater than a prescribed value, and adds a second correction value that is smaller than the first correction value to the current input value and the previous output value if the aforementioned comparison value is equal to or less than the prescribed value. The output unit calculates a current output value on the basis of the current input value and the previous output value to which the first correction value or the second correction value was added.
