Provided is a filtering apparatus used for wastewater treatment, comprising a cylinder wall (1), three brackets (6) evenly arranged on the cylinder wall (1), and a protective cover (203) arranged on the cylinder wall (1); a rotation component (2), comprising a rotation motor (201) arranged on the protective cover (203), a drive shaft (204) mounted at the output end of the rotation motor (201), a support member (214) and a drive gear (205) arranged on the drive shaft (204), a set of transmission gears (206) meshed with the drive gear (205) and symmetrically mounted on the support member (214), a first bevel gear (207) meshed with the transmission gear (206), a rotation part (208) mounted on the first bevel gear (207), a second bevel gear (209) fixedly mounted on the rotation part (208), and a rotation gear (210) meshing with the second bevel gear (209), the support member (214) being connected to the rotation part (208).
