Abstract:
This imaging device comprises an eyepiece optical system having an eyepiece lens, a light-emitting part that emits detection light toward the cornea, and a light-shielding body that is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the optical axis of the eyepiece optical system and that blocks visible light. At least part of the light-shielding body is provided as a detection light transmission part that transmits the detection light, the position where the detection light emitted from the light-emitting part is emitted toward the cornea is located inside the outermost circumference of the eyepiece optical system, and at least part of the detection light reaches the cornea due to passing through the detection light transmission part. As a result, detection light emitted from the emission position located inside the outermost circumference of the eyepiece optical system is transmitted through the detection light transmission part provided to the light-shielding body, which shields visible light, and the detection light heads toward the cornea 50. It is therefore possible to improve detection accuracy relating to line-of-sight detection without increasing the size of the imaging device.
