Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a fire hose coupling which allows hardly any leakage of a fluid from a space between a rotary frame and an insertion pipe of a fire-fighting joint and which has less possibility of allowing ingress of dust through a gap between the insertion pipe and the rotary frame. [Solution] The present invention comprises: an insertion pipe which can be connected into a bracket of a fire-fighting joint having a socket; a rotary frame which is rotatably fitted and secured to either the outer or inner circumferential surface of the other end side of the insertion pipe; a plurality of bearing balls sandwiched, along the pipe circumferential surfaces, between the outer or inner circumferential surface of the insertion pipe and the outer or inner circumferential surface of the fitting portion of the rotary frame fitted to the insertion pipe; and a pair of water cutoff rings embedded along a pipe circumferential surface which is the outer or inner circumferential surface of the insertion pipe or the outer or inner circumferential surface of the fitting portion of the rotary frame fitted to the insertion pipe such that the pair of water cutoff rings sandwich the plurality of bearing balls.
