Abstract:
A fire preventing and extinguishing battery pack, and a vehicle, comprising: a protective case, a plurality of accommodating cavities used for mounting battery modules being provided in the protective case, and the protective case being formed by the enclosing of case walls, a hollow structure to be filled with a fire extinguishant of a pre-set pressure value being formed in the case walls; and spraying parts, distributed on the side of the case walls facing accommodating cavities and in communication with the hollow structure, a thermally sensitive material used to prevent the fire extinguishant in the hollow structure from spraying out being filled in the spraying parts, and the thermally sensitive material being able to deform when the temperature thereof increases to within a pre-set deformation temperature threshold range in order to cause the fire extinguishant to spray out through the spraying parts towards the accommodating cavities.
