Abstract:
Disclosed is a flame retardant polycarbonate-reinforced high-modulus moulding composition. The material contains polycarbonate and/or polyester carbonate, glass fibres, an impact modifier, a flame retardant, poly(alkyl acrylate) and a fluorohydrocarbon resin. The composition has a scientific material selection and advanced preparation process, is prepared through the steps of mixing, extrusion, granulation, drying and injection moulding, has a higher impact strength, a high transparency, a high thermal stability, a higher welding strength and a good flame retardancy, is easier to process than pure polyimides and also lower in cost, and can be used for transparent automotive glass materials or LED packaging materials with higher requirements for transparency and for electrical appliance materials requiring thinner materials.
