Abstract:
An environmentally friendly flashlight for providing electric energy by using the heat energy of a human body. An LED lamp, a metal conductor, a storage battery and a Peltier ceramic sheet are connected in sequence. When a user holds the outer side of the Peltier ceramic sheet with the palm to heat the Peltier ceramic sheet, the inner side of the Peltier ceramic sheet can be cooled by the air inside a hollow metal tube, electrons in the Peltier ceramic sheet moves from a high-temperature zone to a low-temperature zone along with a temperature gradient due to the temperature difference between the inner side and the outer side, to generate a current. The electric energy is first stored in the storage battery and is supplied to the LED lamp through the metal conductor. The flashlight can provide an emergency light source and lower the pollution.
