Abstract:
Disclosed is a flexible display panel separating apparatus, comprising a support column, a power mechanism, and a vacuum suction block. The support column is used for supporting the separating apparatus at a position directly above a rigid substrate to be separated; the vacuum suction block is in communication with the support column and is used for connecting to said rigid substrate by means of suction; the power mechanism has one end connected to the support column and the other end rotatably connected to the vacuum suction block, and is used for controlling the vacuum suction block together with said rigid substrate to be separated from a flexible display panel. Also disclosed is a flexible display panel separating method, comprising first ablating, by means of laser lift-off technology, to break an adhesive layer between a flexible display panel and a rigid substrate, and then stripping off the rigid substrate from the flexible display panel by means of the separating apparatus.
