Abstract:
Provided is a floating oceanic debris collection device capable of automatically collecting debris, suitable for use on the sea, and usable for a long period of time without the need for maintenance. A floating oceanic debris collection device 100 is a floating oceanic debris collection device having a substantially circular shape in plan view and installed on the sea to collect debris G floating on the sea surface S. The floating oceanic debris collection device 100 comprises a circular base 1 divided into a debris storage unit 3 on the inner peripheral side and a debris collection unit 2 on the outer peripheral side. The debris collection unit 2 comprises a blade 30 and an arm 20. The debris storage unit 3 comprises an inner peripheral float 50 and an outlet 60. The inner peripheral float 50 has an inlet 52 formed penetrating through a peripheral surface 50. The outlet 60 is formed penetrating through the top surface of the base 1. As the blade 30 on the debris collection unit 2 is blown by the sea wind, the entire base 1 rotates, and the debris G floating on the sea surface S is swept inward by the arm 20. Then, the debris G is introduced into the interior through the inlet 52 formed in the debris storage unit 3, so that the debris G can be removed through the outlet 60.
