Abstract:
Provided is a fluidized bed combustor capable of lengthening the life of a thermometer even when a protective tube is made from an inexpensive material identical to that of the prior art. This fluidized bed boiler (100) is equipped with a combustion chamber (2) for burning a starting material while forming a fluidized bed in which the starting material and a fluid material flow, a thermometer (7) for measuring the temperature of the combustion chamber (2) penetrates a combustor wall (B), and the measuring part of the thermometer is covered by a protective tube (9) and protrudes into the combustor. Furthermore, a heat-resistant projection (10) which projects into the combustor is positioned above the protective tube (9) on the inside surface of the combustor wall (B), and wear on the protective tube (9) is reduced, because the heat-resistant projection (10) causes the fluid material running down along the combustor walls (A, B) not to contact the protective tube (9).
