Abstract:

This fluorescent wheel (1A) is provided with a substrate (11) having a first principal surface and a second principal surface which face away from each other, a fluorescent layer (12) which is provided on the first principal surface, and a heat dissipation member (30K) which, formed from a plate member, is arranged opposite of either the first principal surface or the second principal surface and which is rotated together with the substrate (11). The heat dissipation member (30K) comprises: a protruding part (34K) which is provided in the center of the heat dissipation member (30K) protrudingly toward the aforementioned either principal surface and which has a contact surface that contacts said either principal surface; and multiple fins (31K) which are formed by cutting and turning upwards multiple regions of the plate member in the peripheral region but not in the center. The protruding part (34K), by contacting the substrate (11) via the contact surface, ensures a fixed interval between the substrate (11) and the heat dissipation member (30K), and conducts heat from the substrate (11) to the peripheral region of the heat dissipation member (30K).
