Abstract:
This fluorine-containing ether compound is represented by the following formula: R1-R2-CH2-R3[-CH2-R4-CH2-R3']n-CH2-R5-R6 (n represents 1 or 2, R3 and R3' each represent a perfluoropolyether chain, R4 represents a divalent linkage group having a single polar group, R2 and R5 each represent a divalent linkage group having at least one polar group, the terminal of R2 on the side where binding with R1 occurs and the terminal of R5 on the side where binding with R6 occurs are oxygen atoms, R1 and R6 each represent a terminal group bound to the oxygen atom at the terminal of R2 or R5, R1 and R6 each represent an organic group having 1-50 carbon atoms but at least one of the two represents a group in which a nitrogen atom or a carbonyl carbon atom forming an amide bond is bound to a carbon atom included in an organic group having 1-8 carbon atoms.)
