Abstract:
Provided are a fluoroethane production method that has a high selectivity for the target product, i.e. fluoroethane, and a fluoroolefin production method. The production method according to the present disclosure includes a step in which a product that includes fluoroethane is obtained from fluoroethylene via a reaction in the presence of a catalyst. The reaction is performed in two or more reaction zones, each of which is provided with the catalyst. Fluoroethylene is supplied to the respective reaction zones and is reacted.
