Abstract:
In order to obtain a flywheel having good heat dissipation properties, using a simple and inexpensive configuration, this flywheel (1) comprises: an inner circumferential mounting section (11); a friction section (12); and an outer circumferential mounting section (13). The inner circumferential mounting section (11) can be coupled to a crank shaft. The friction section (12) is formed on the outer circumferential side of the inner circumferential mounting section (11) and has a ring-shaped friction surface (12a) having a friction facing (36) pressed thereupon. The outer circumferential mounting section (13) is formed in an outer circumferential section of the friction section (12) and has a clutch cover assembly (2) mounted thereto. The outer circumferential mounting section (13) also has fixed sections (13a) and a plurality of grooves (13b). The fixed sections (13a) are formed at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction and have the clutch cover assembly (2) fixed thereto. The grooves (13b) are formed between the fixed sections (13a) in the circumferential direction and guide internal air to the outside, as a result of rotation.
