Abstract:
This invention addresses the problem of providing a molded foam article having an integrated feeling and minimal warpage. A molded foam article 1 having an outer-shell-structure part 6 and an insert 11, the insert 11 being embedded in the outer-shell-structure part 6. The outer-shell-structure part 6 is separated into divided foam segments 15a, 15b. The divided foam segments 15a, 15b have a missing part 16 in which the foam body is missing. A fitting member 20 is mounted on the missing part 16. The foam molded article 1 is suitable as a rigidity-imparting member for a seat for an automobile.
