Abstract:
The present invention relates to food packaging materials having antibacterial and deodorizing capabilities by means of comprising zinc polypeptide. The food packaging materials and coatings of the present invention have antibacterial properties that inhibit the growth of microorganisms and deodorant properties that remove gases generated from food, and thus have the advantages of delaying the deterioration of food and allowing the food to maintain the same quality as at the place of production for a long time. In addition, the food packaging materials and coatings of the present invention comprise amino acids, which constitute a living body, and zinc oxide, which is used as a raw material in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and thus have the advantages of having a negligible effect on food and enabling the use of eco-friendly materials.
