Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to easily reproduce the taste of a food product on the basis of taste data. In a food product taste reproduction system (1), taste data in which the taste of a food product has been digitized is obtained by a taste recognition device (2). A first terminal (5) combines a plurality of taste elements, containing a substance producing at least one fundamental flavor, on the basis of the taste data, and converts the plurality of taste elements to taste reproduction data pertaining to the constituent ratio of taste elements for reproducing the taste of a food product. The first terminal (5) transmits the taste reproduction data to a server (7) to store the taste reproduction data. A second terminal (8) receives the taste reproduction data via an Internet (6), and outputs the taste reproduction data to a taste reproduction device (9). The taste reproduction device (9) selects at least two taste elements from the plurality of taste elements on the basis of the taste reproduction data, and combines the selected taste elements in accordance with the constituent ratio to obtain the reproduction of the taste.
