Abstract:
The present invention relates to a food waste disposal apparatus for automatically discharging food waste by compressing (dewatering), cutting and drying the food waste and, specifically, to a food waste disposal apparatus having a deodorizing exhaust part with two stages including washing (condensing) and filtering with activated carbon, thereby enabling steam, which includes odor generated in a drying and discharging part, to be completely eliminated, and sterilizing and washing the inside of the apparatus with water or ozone water so as to be hygienically usable. To this end, the present invention provides a food waste disposal apparatus comprising: a hopper part into which food waste is put; a horizontal transfer screw provided at the lower end of the hopper part so as to move, in the horizontal direction, the food waste that flows in through an input hole while rotating by means of the driving of a first motor; a compressing (dewatering), transferring and cutting part, which compresses the food waste that flows therein through the horizontal transfer screw, so as to cut same while moving same in the vertical direction; a drying and discharging part for drying and discharging the compressed (dewatered) and cut food waste that flows therein through the compressing (dewatering), transferring and cutting part; a deodorizing exhaust part for eliminating the steam and the odor generated in the drying and discharging part; and a sterilizing and washing part for spraying water or ozone water into the hopper part and the drying and discharging part so as to sterilize and wash same.
