Abstract:
A food waste processor of the present invention can be easily installed even below a counter of a sink, as space saving has been achieved by having a top cover unit of the processor drop downward and open when pushed backward, when opening the unit, and close when pulled forward, when closing the unit. Also, the present invention has improved grinding and mixing efficiency through the scissoring of grinding and mixing blades when grinding and mixing food waste, and reliability of a dry mixing container has been greatly improved. For food waste processing, moisture in food is removed via a dehumidifier method, and the smell of the food waste processor is not leaked outside because the air inside the processor is not leaked outside, and, thus, the market penetration rate of the food waste processor can be significantly increased, and, as a result, the present invention is expected to greatly contribute to improvement of indoor environment and a reduction in the amount of disposed food waste, while providing convenience to most homemakers.
