A foot for a home appliance and a home appliance. The foot for a home appliance comprises: a hydraulic plate (100), fixed at the bottom of a home appliance; a protective sheath (200), fixedly connected to the hydraulic plate; an adjustable foot (300), provided in the protective sheath and being able to move axially relative thereto, the hydraulic plate (100), the protective sheath (200), and the adjustable foot (300) forming an accommodating chamber; and a flexible accommodating member (600) in which a liquid medium is accommodated, the flexible accommodating member being provided in the accommodating chamber; under the action of pressure, the flexible accommodating member extends and retracts to drive the adjustable foot to move axially in the protective sheath so as to level out. The foot for a home appliance realizes the rapid and reliable fixed-connection of the hydraulic plate and the protective sheath, and reduces the requirement on the connection strength between the hydraulic plate and the protective sheath, further reducing the necessary space and height required by connection.
