Abstract:
A foreign matter removal type steel sheet transferring roll of the present invention comprises: a suction hollow body to which a dust collecting line is connected; and a suction roll provided rotatably on the suction hollow body so as to transfer a steel sheet in a contact manner, and having a plurality of elongated suction holes for suctioning foreign matter, wherein the elongated suction holes may comprise at least one of: a set width and length; a rounded side formed at both ends; and chamfered surfaces formed on the surface of the roll .
