Abstract:
The invention relates to a forming device comprising a straight edge cutter (1) which is guided using a shape model (2). Said cutter consists of a support element (3), a positioning means (4 - 5) which can be brought in line with at least one edge (18 or 19) of the shape model (2), and a guide (6) comprising a guide zone (7 - 8 - 9 - 10) which is used to guide a sharp blade in order to cut a material (11 - 39). The straight edge (1) is intended to be inserted between the material (11 - 39) and the shape model (2), such that the edge (1, 51, 61 or 91) is disposed beneath the material (11 - 39 or 60 or 60 - 113) to be cut, the shape model (2) also being disposed beneath the material to be cut (11 - 39). According to the invention, the material (11 - 39) consists of a film of material (11 - 39) which protects the cover (12, 13, 14) of a book (2), the shape model (2) comprising a book (2) and the elements to be cut (36, 37) comprising flaps (36, 37) which protect (11 - 39) said book (2).
