Abstract:
This Fourier transformation-type infrared spectrophotometer is provided with: a moving mirror drive means (150, 160) which reciprocally moves a moving mirror (116) in a linear manner; a light source (175a) which is fixed in the vicinity of the moving mirror drive means; an optical position sensor (176a) which has a light-receiving surface that is disposed so as to face the light source; a light-shielding part (177) which moves in conjunction with the moving mirror and which, at least at one end of the movement range thereof, ingresses between the light source and the light-receiving surface; and a movement direction identification means which identifies the movement direction of the moving mirror on the basis of a change in incidence position of the light from the light source in the light-receiving surface associated with the movement of the light-shielding part. When the light-shielding part moves in conjunction with the moving mirror and ingresses between the optical position sensor and the light source, at least a part of the light from the light source toward the optical position sensor gets shielded, thereby causing the barycentric position of the incident light to be moved within the light-receiving surface. On the basis of the movement direction of this barycentric position, it is possible to identify in which direction the moving mirror has moved.
