Abstract:
The present invention relates to a frame member for a cast and a cast frame using same. The present invention provides a frame member for a cast and a cast frame using same, the frame member comprising: a body which is extrusion molded so that a cavity portion for core-filling is formed at the center therein, and which has at least one wedge pin-coupling hole that passes therethrough in the thickness direction; and a core that fills the cavity portion for core-filling. In a state in which the cavity portion for core-filling is filled with the core, the wedge pin-coupling hole is formed by sequentially perforating an outer wall of the body, the core, and an inner wall of the body by means of a press, and a circumferential edge portion of the wedge pin-coupling hole perforated in the outer wall is recessed inward and pressed against the core. Thus, the frame member is lightweight, has high structural rigidity, can be manufactured at low cost, and is easy to assemble.
