Abstract:
This fraud detection device detects fraudulence of a frame flowing through an in-vehicle network system, the fraud detection device comprising: an acquisition unit that acquires one or more frames; a first holding unit (213) that holds a first rule which defines a rule indicating that a given frame is to be forwarded if said frame satisfies a first condition based on the transmission origin or the transmission destination; a first frame control unit (212) that forwards one or more frames on the basis of the first rule; a second holding unit (223) that holds a second rule which defines a rule indicating that a frame satisfying a second condition is to be determined to be fraudulent; and a second frame control unit (222) that, for each of the one or more frames forwarded by the first frame control unit (212), performs fraud detection of said frame(s) on the basis of the second rule. The second frame control unit (222) reports or stores the detection result when a fraudulent frame is detected.
