Abstract:
A fraud detection device (10402) for an onboard network that includes an Ethernet (registered trademark) network in a portion thereof. The fraud detection device (10402) comprises: a VLAN frame reception part (30301) that receives an Ethernet frame that has, in a first location of a header, first information that is based on the content of a data field; a first extraction part (30302) that extracts the first information; a second extraction part (30303) that extracts, from the header, second information that is in a second location that is different from the first location; a fraud detection rule holding part (30305) that holds a fraud detection rule for the first information, the second information, or a combination of the first information and the second information; a fraud detection part (30304) that compares the fraud detection rule with the first information, the second information, or the combination of the first information and the second information to determine whether the Ethernet frame is a fraudulent frame or a normal frame; and an action execution part (30306) that executes a prescribed action that corresponds to the results of the determination.
