Title:
FRAUD PREVENTION METHOD AND SECURE STAR COUPLER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/021714
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In an on-vehicle network of the present invention, a plurality of branches configured by one or more electronic control devices and one on-vehicle network bus are connected via a secure star coupler (300). The electronic control devices each transmit and receive a frame within a prescribed time slot. The secure star coupler (300) is provided with: transceiver units (301a-301d) the number of which is equal to the number of the branches; a routing unit (302); and a holding unit (305). Each of the transceiver units (301a-301d) is connected to any one of the branches, and is provided with: a reception unit that converts a physical signal of the bus of the branch to a digital signal, and notifies the routing unit (302) of the digital signal; and a transmission unit that converts the digital signal to a physical signal, and transmits the physical signal to the bus. Unless a non-transfer condition is satisfied, the routing unit (302) transfers a digital signal from a first transceiver unit connected to a first branch, to a transceiver unit other than the first transceiver unit.
