Abstract:
A free-flow tolling method, a vehicle tolling system, and a server. Tolling is completed without vehicles stopping, the need to use ETC devices is obviated, the need for code scanning is obviated, and the efficiency of tolling is increased. In the method: first, a vehicle tolling system first receives a first billing instruction transmitted by a license plate recognition device, the first billing instruction being transmitted by the license plate recognition device when a license plate number corresponding to a vehicle is captured at a toll entrance, and the license plate number corresponding to the vehicle being linked to an electronic payment account (101); the vehicle tolling system bills the license plate number on the basis of the first billing instruction (102); the vehicle tolling system receives a second billing instruction transmitted by the license plate recognition system, the second billing instruction being transmitted by a license plate recognition device when the license plate number corresponding to the vehicle is captured at a toll exit (103); the vehicle tolling system generates an electronic billing document for the license plate number on the basis of the second billing instruction (104); and the vehicle tolling system debits, on the basis of the electronic billing document, a toll from the electronic payment account linked to the license plate number (105).
