Abstract:
A front-loading washing machine having a tiltable drum and a control method. The washing machine comprises a housing (1), an outer drum (8), an inner drum (9), a power system (15), a main control system (4), suspension components (17, 18), and at least front and rear supporting devices (11, 12). One end of the supporting device is connected to a lower portion of the outer drum, and the other end is mounted on an inner bottom surface of the housing. The height of the two supporting devices is adjustable. The washing machine further comprises a tilting driving system (10) connected to the main control system and the supporting devices. The tilting driving system comprises a driving board and a motor, and drives, according to a preset program in the main control system, the supporting devices to move vertically, so as to adjust the inner and outer drums to be level or to tilt forwards or backwards. The control method comprises procedures of washing, rinsing, and drying, and comprises an optional mixed washing procedure and an optional mixed drying procedure. The supporting devices are stable, and have long service life, improving performance of the whole machine. The invention washes clothes cleaner and has higher clothes drying efficiency.
