Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a fuel reforming device with which gas does not need to be supplied separately from liquid fuel, which has a simple configuration, and which is capable of delivering reformed fuel stably to a combustion device. [Solution] A fuel reforming device 1 is provided with a nozzle 4 which is installed in a supply pipeline 2 for supplying a liquid fuel L to a combustion device, and which generates microscopic bubbles derived from the liquid fuel in the liquid fuel flowing through the supply pipeline. The nozzle 4 includes a slit 4g, and is capable of generating the microscopic bubbles by means of the slit, by causing cavitation to occur in the liquid fuel passing through the slit. The nozzle may be installed in a bypass pipe 3 of the supply pipeline, a pump 5 for sucking the liquid fuel from the supply pipeline may be provided on the downstream side of the nozzle, and the downstream side of the pump may be connected to the supply pipeline.
