Abstract:
In the present invention, a fuel tank mounted in a ship comprises: a storage unit in which fuel is stored; a piping unit that extends downward from the bottom of the storage unit, fuel circulating in the piping unit; a valve initially provided to the piping unit in the direction in which the piping unit extends from the bottom of the storage unit; and a protective wall part that enables airtight coverage to be provided from the bottom of the storage unit to at least the valve, the protective wall part being installed below the storage unit in a protective-wall-part-installation part, which is a part of the ship.
